Job Description
KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Emergency Department Registered Nurse – FT Nights for our targeted client located in the Upper Sandusky, Ohio area.
Targeted Pay Range: $33hr - $45hr (pay varies depending upon skills and experience level).
Hours: 7pm-7am (72 hours a pay period)
Shift: Primary Weekends (Holiday rotation is required)
Status: Full Time

A progressive community hospital in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, serving the residents of Wyandot County and its surrounding areas. The hospital has received noteworthy praise for the orthopedics, stroke care, PET/CT scanning, and on-site chemo programs, but they have a wide array of additional services which they hold with the same high-quality standards
Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is a vital member of the healthcare team who is responsible for providing direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-paced and dynamic emergency department setting. The ED RN must be capable of making quick and accurate assessments of patient conditions, administering appropriate interventions, and working collaboratively with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency medical care
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Uses a systematic approach to assess patient’s needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care and evaluate care in an efficient, safe environment.
- The ED RN facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines in order to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
- Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities when the RN develops the plan of care.
- Based in Emergency Department, but will work effectively in other departments rendering personal and professional care to patients as assigned.
- Recognize and interpret electrocardiographic information.
- Knowledgeable of management of ventilator patients.
- Ability to set-up and assist with all invasive procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio.
- Must be ACLS, NRP and PALS certified.
- Preference will be given to the candidate with two or more years of hospital critical care/ED experience.
- Must exemplify a strong initiative and enthusiasm for the position, including a professional demeanor in appearance and ability to communicate, be an independent thinker, and be a customer service leader.
