Direct Hire Career Opportunity: Executive Director for Health System Foundation

Location: Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area

Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 per year (Varies based on skills and experience)

Employment Status: Full Time

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Responsibilities: As the Executive Director, you'll be the driving force behind our client's Foundation's success. Here's what you'll be doing:

1. Visionary Leadership:
  • Develop shared visions and strategic plans that ignite excitement among staff, board members, partners, donors, and supporters.
  • Lead the charge in creating a future where healthcare thrives through philanthropic efforts.

2. Operational Excellence:
  •  Craft short- and long-term operating plans for the Foundation.
  •  Regularly report program results and progress to the Board and hospital representatives.

3. Donor Engagement:
  •    Identify, cultivate, and solicit potential donors.
  •    Educate and recruit key volunteers who share our client's passion.

4. Philanthropic Support:
  •  Oversee the evaluation and solicitation of all potential sources of philanthropic support.
  •   Ensure our Foundation thrives through sustainable funding.

Team Leadership:
  •    Build, train, and manage a proactive professional staff.
  •    Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

6. Volunteer Involvement:
  • Design and implement programs to engage, reward, and train volunteers.
  •  Make them an integral part of our client's mission.

7. Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate donor records.
  • Keep our client's systems organized and efficient.

8. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Public Relations and Marketing Departments.
  • Amplify our client's impact through effective communication.

9. Board Support:
  •  Organize board meetings, agendas, and orientation programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum seven years of philanthropy management experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus.
