KNK Recruiting is sourcing to find an exceptional direct hire Family Birth Center Nurse Manager for our client.
About Our Client: Our client is a healthcare facility that is daily driven to demonstrate compassionate, quality care. They’re known as a trusted, nationally-recognized leader in innovative community health, committed to making a difference for their neighbors, friends, and family.
The Department: The Family Birth Center offers 10 spacious birthing suites, recovery/post-partum rooms for C-section deliveries, and observation rooms. Services include midwifery programs, water births, and International Board-Certified Lactation consultants for breastfeeding support.
What You’ll Do: As the Family Birth Center Nurse Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our client’s award-winning Family Birth Center. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
1. Leadership and Vision:
• Develop and share a compelling vision for the Family Birth Center.
• Collaborate with staff, board members, partners, donors, and supporters to ignite excitement and commitment.
2. Operational Excellence:
• Create short- and long-term operating plans.
• Regularly report progress to the Director of Nursing.
3. Team Building:
• Lead, train, and manage a proactive professional staff.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 3-5 years of nursing leadership in OB/Labor and Delivery is required
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate successful leadership in an organization through change.
