KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Medical Surgical Registered Nurse – FT Nights for our targeted client located in the Salem, Ohio area.
Targeted Pay Range: $30hr-$40hr (pay varies depending upon skills and experience level).
Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am (72 hours a pay period)
Weekend: Every third weekend
Holidays: Rotation

Our client is a hospital located in Salem, Ohio, United States. It is a not-for-profit hospital that provides healthcare services to residents in Columbiana and southern Mahoning counties in Ohio. The medical center offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, surgery, cancer care, imaging, rehabilitation, and many other medical specialties. The facility is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and for using advanced medical technologies.
Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This role will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage a diverse patient population with a variety of medical conditions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of competent patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• The RN identifies the special needs of the patient’s age group and respective level of growth and development, and plans the care accordingly.
• The RN directs the implementation of the Plan of Care through performance and/or coordination of the activities of other members of the health care team. NCP/SOC, Clinical Pathways, Departmental Policies and Procedures are used as the basis to prescribe nursing intervention. The RN is responsible for the evaluation of nursing care given to all patients. The RN revises the plan of care according to the needs of the patient and appropriately implements changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing, and must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Must have current certification in BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation.
• Experience in health care or recent graduate from a professional school of nursing (within last 12 months).
