Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Summary: Medical Technologists (Med Tech) accurately perform and report laboratory tests within established guidelines in the technical departments of our client. Levels of autonomy for testing and reporting of results are based on education, previous work experience and demonstration of competency and are defined individually for each technologist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all tests in an accurate and efficient manner following established policies and procedures.
Perform and record daily and/or routine maintenance and quality control on all equipment or reagents used for testing.
Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiates problem solving procedures.
Record all results in an accurate, complete and readable format, utilizes computer systems correctly to generate results and notifies clients appropriately of panic value results.
Address client related questions and problems in a courteous and efficient manner, following department policies and procedures.
Participate in training of new employees and students in appropriate technical areas.
Comply with all corporate integrity and safety policies of our client.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness by performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
ASCP Certification and an Associates or Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science.
