Job Description
KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Nurse Practitioner for our targeted client located in the Bowling Green, Ohio area.
Targeted Salary: $100,000yr - $130,000yr– Salary varies depending upon skills and experience level.
Hours: 8am – 8pm (Day Shift with evening and weekend rotation)
Status: Full Time
Client Description: Our targeted client is a hospital that was founded in 1951 with support from the community. The residents believed so much in the hospital back then; they played a key role in its early development. The trust and respect that has accrued over its lifetime is built on a tradition of “being there” for the residents within the community– in good times and bad – 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Summary: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will perform duties in accordance with customary rules of ethics and conduct of the applicable State Board. The health center that the NP will support sees family medicine, student health, urgent care, and women’s health patients. NP will also assist in rotate through occupational medicine clinic as needed. Candidate must be licensed in the state of Ohio and hold a current and valid certificate to prescribe.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and examinations
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Current BLS certification and DEA license required.
• 3-5 years experienced preferred. Required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
