KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Occupational Therapist for our targeted client located in the Dixon, Illinois area.
Targeted Pay Range: $30hr to $44hr (pay range varies depending upon skills and experience level.
Status: Full-Time Days
Reports to: Director of Rehab Services
Targeted Client Description:
This hospital is a not-for-profit, independent healthcare provider located in Dixon, Illinois. It is an 80-bed acute care facility offering comprehensive ancillary services, including diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist, Registered / Licensed is primarily responsible for evaluating and administering occupational therapy as described by the standard of practice in various settings. Their current opening has a caseload of approximately 50% pediatric outpatients and 50% adult inpatient and homecare. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate or an experienced clinician, and targeted client is willing to train the right candidate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Required to plan, establish, revise goals, contact physician at appropriate times.
• Perform Discharge Planning and promote Occupational Therapy through staff and community.
Qualifications:
• Must be the graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Must be eligible for licensure or licensed by the State of Illinois to practice O.T.
• Certified with NBCOT. Biennial CPR certification.
• AOTA membership recommended.
• Must be willing to work with patients in HHC, hospital outpatient/inpatient, contract facilities, and at satellite clinics.
• Must have dependable transportation to provide service for HHC, contracts, and satellite clinics.
