Job Description

KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Physical Therapist for our targeted client located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. 

Targeted Salary Range: $85Kyr to $105Kyr (salary range varies depending upon skills and experience level. 
Status: Full-Time Days

For over 160 years this healthcare system has offered high quality, cost-effective and patient-focused health care to the residents of Marion County and Central Indiana.  This healthcare system offers primary and special care services at a 333-bed hospital and outpatient centers.  

Job Summary: 
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides a wide range of medically prescribed physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients experiencing orthopedic, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist evaluates patient diagnoses, applies diagnostic and prognostic tests to measure muscle, nerve, and joint function, correlates information from the evaluation to develop short-term and long-term goals. The PT will establish a plan of care to restore function and prevent further disability in the presence of disease or following injury/surgery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Adapts evaluation appropriately based on the age and cultural background of patient.
•    Reviews medical history and adjust clinical decisions based on information
•    Completes thorough and effective evaluation
•    Administers appropriate standardized and non-standardized assessments
•    Develops age appropriate and reasonable plan of care
•    Sets reasonable and appropriate client-centered goals
•    Adapts treatment appropriately based on the age and cultural background of patient
•    Implements appropriate and timely treatment based on evaluation of patients' physical and psychosocial needs
•    Provides client-centered education

Qualifications: 
•    Graduate of APTA approved curriculum.
•    Licensed as a Physical Therapist in State of Indiana or eligible to do so.
•    Current BLS certification
