KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Physician Assistant – Urology for our targeted client located in the Chillicothe, Ohio area.
Targeted Salary:$105,000yr– $135,000yr - Salary varies depending upon skills and experience level.
Hours:7:30am-4:30pm (Monday– Friday)
Client Description: Ourtargetedclient is a health system that provides state-of-the-art medical services for patients in nine Ohio counties. This targeted client served generations of people in south central and southern Ohio for over 120 years. As a non-profit hospital, this Health System includes four hospitals as well as six regional clinics with a total of 341 beds. This health system serves as an economic catalyst for the region.
Summary: The Physician Assistant selected candidate will join a team of three physicians, two nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. This position will provide inpatient service rounding, assist in surgery and provide assistance in the clinic occasionally. Some of the procedures may include bedside cystoscopy, catheters and bladder irrigations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, including taking detailed histories and performing physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
Assist surgeons during urological procedures and surgeries.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a urologist.
Counsel patients on preventive healthcare practices and urological conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and other professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Ohio.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Previous experience in urology or a related surgical specialty is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
