KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire Surgical Technician – FT Days for our targeted client located in the Upper Sandusky, Ohio area.
Targeted Pay Range: $20hr - $35hr (pay varies depending upon skills and experience level). Hours: 8am-6:30pm – 4 days a week (80 hours a pay period) On Call: Required Status: Full Time

A progressive community hospital in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, serving the residents of Wyandot County and its surrounding areas. The hospital has received noteworthy praise for the orthopedics, stroke care, PET/CT scanning, and on-site chemo programs, but they have a wide array of additional services which they hold with the same high-quality standards
Job Summary:
The Surgical Technician plays a crucial role in the operating room, providing support to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides indirect care in the surgical area under the supervision of an RN and/or Physician.
Assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
Ensures OR suite is adequately prepared for procedures.
Assists to monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies.
Maintains requirements of hospital regulatory bodies, follows policies and procedures and participates in activities related to quality initiatives, performance improvement, and customer service.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician Program.
Certification Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) within six months of hire.
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
